Steve is the founder of Eden Reforestation Projects, a non-profit organisation dedicated to poverty reduction through environmental stewardship. By recreating healthy forest systems ERP restores hope, alleviates suffering, empowers people and builds local economies in impoverished communities.

He is a colourful character and has a clear vision of healing the land and people’s lives. We turned to Steve and discussed with him our vision to contribute to the reforestation of Madagascar by pledging to provide funds to plant 1 million trees in 10 years. He was very supportive from the beginning and this has reinforced the belief in us that we can all can make a difference, one thought, one action at a time.

Steve is a keen herpetolgists and he has discovered a new species of chameleon and co-discovered another. This goes to show how incredibly biologically diverse Madagascar is and highlights the urgent need to protect and reforest the dwindling forests. Being that Steve is the agent of CHANGE helping to transform the colour of the land and the lives of its people, it is quite ironic that he has discovered species of animals that change colour.

While our books and greeting cards may add colour to the lives of many, it is what they do behind the scenes that makes even more of a difference. Each book and card is helping to put colour back into the lives of some of the poorest people and transform Madagascar from a sea of browns to a sea of green it once was. So every time you buy our products just remember that you are holding in your hands the power of great change.
